With the warmer weather approaching, I’m going back to cream blushes and since elf has recently launched in Italy I’ve decided to give this one a go.
The stick formula seems very practical.
Packaging
The packaging is really small and travel-friendly, good to take around for touch-ups, although I wouldn’t suggest to stripe it on because it’s not very sanitary.
The shade is written on the bottom and it twists completely up and down which is awesome because you don’t risk ruining it.
Pigmentation & Formula
The formula has a sheer pigmentation which I like because it helps to avoid the clown effect.
It looks very glowy which again it’s nice but it also breaks the foundation underneath so whatever you put underneath it rubs off, especially if you use the stick directly.
You can’t use it over powders so you have to remember to put it on.
Application
I put it on the back of my hand and apply it with my fingers. It gives me more control and it helps avoid the foundation from breaking.
Swatches
Lasting Power
On me, it lasts around 5 hours without fading.

Conclusion
I should also say that they’re lightly shimmery but nothing extreme. In the swatch, it’s Sparkling Rose (a beige pink), Glistening Peach and Lumious Berry, which is the brightest, colour wise. I used Sparkling Rose on my lips and Glistening Peach on eyes and cheeks. If you spotted my K-Pop beauty post yesterday, you’ll have seen that staying within the same colour spectrum on eyes, cheeks and lips is a ‘thing’ hence the name, ‘monochromatic’.
